Apparently, dying is bad for the environment. Every year in the US, approx. 827,060 gallons of embalming fluid (containing formaldehyde, methanol and ethanol) goes into our soil. So, you say, how about cremation? That pumps dioxins, hydrochloric acid, sulfur dioxide and carbon dioxide into the air. Wow.
