New Things

The past week was full of new things.
I have tiny crocuses peeping up through the ground. Doesn't the sight of fresh green make you want to squeal with delight?

Little buds are sprouting from the lilac bush, the forsythia and the dogwood. I dread the undeniable return of cold weather that will leave these little signs of spring withered and frostbitten.

A nest full of ginkgo seeds. I gathered them in the fall, cleaned them up and put them in this nest to weather the winter. Now they are ready to be buried in peat and hopefully encouraged to sprout.

I took some new pics of some old items. This little clutch got some glamour-shots made in better lighting.

And, of course, there are some new items to be listed, too. This particular bag above has been quite a little pain in my hiney. Well..... this one and another leather bag that I recently finished. Broke three needles between the two. Ah, leather. Sometimes I curse the day that I met it. And then I smell it and rub its soft surface and remember why I put myself through the pain.

Also on the "New" list is a beautiful tattoo that I bought my husband for Valentine's Day. (I still owe him big for this laptop.) He has to go back in a few weeks to have it finished and then maybe I will share a pic of that, too.

I hope this week is off to a great start for all of you. I apologize for always being such a sporadic blogger. But please drop me a comment. It makes my day to hear from you guys.
Hugs and Sunshine to you all.

Love your photos......makes me feel more "springish":)

I don't mind you're sporadic...as long as you're still here:)

Hope your week is a wonderful one.
Throw some springtime my way...I'm still buried under feet of snow!)

I think not working suits you quite well :) I think you should not work for a while longer and just be creative.

It's so exciting to see the first glimpses of spring. Everything feels new again. Enjoy!
