Welcome to the Week.

I'm really hoping that today is not an indication of what the rest of the week will be like for me. My eyes hurt. They want to cry.
Do you ever have those days when it seems like everyone is fussing at you? You obviously can't do anything right? You want to just flip everyone off and go hide? It has been one of those days.

I may be overreacting, but it doesn't feel like it.

The weekend in Atlanta was awesome. I'll share some pics on the trip as soon as I feel enough positive energy to do the post any credit. Right now I feel like someone would surely bitch about something I did wrong if I even tried.

Does anyone in the Supercross industry want to offer me a job? Because I would totally be up for being out of town on a weekly basis right about now. Hart and Huntington? I'm waiting.

Hello Friends,

Heading out for Atlanta tomorrow. Going to the Supercross race Saturday. Pray for me. And the rest of my traveling crew. Unlike many of you, traveling does not make me happy and free. It makes me anxious and nervous. I guess those two words are sort of the same thing. But anyway.

Think of me. And, Lord willing, I'll see you on the flip side.

Give me Sunshine.

I want to be right here. It looks so warm and relaxed.
Wanna come over and we'll have some drinks and sit around the fire and talk way into the night?

New Things

The past week was full of new things.
I have tiny crocuses peeping up through the ground. Doesn't the sight of fresh green make you want to squeal with delight?

Little buds are sprouting from the lilac bush, the forsythia and the dogwood. I dread the undeniable return of cold weather that will leave these little signs of spring withered and frostbitten.

A nest full of ginkgo seeds. I gathered them in the fall, cleaned them up and put them in this nest to weather the winter. Now they are ready to be buried in peat and hopefully encouraged to sprout.

I took some new pics of some old items. This little clutch got some glamour-shots made in better lighting.

And, of course, there are some new items to be listed, too. This particular bag above has been quite a little pain in my hiney. Well..... this one and another leather bag that I recently finished. Broke three needles between the two. Ah, leather. Sometimes I curse the day that I met it. And then I smell it and rub its soft surface and remember why I put myself through the pain.

Also on the "New" list is a beautiful tattoo that I bought my husband for Valentine's Day. (I still owe him big for this laptop.) He has to go back in a few weeks to have it finished and then maybe I will share a pic of that, too.

I hope this week is off to a great start for all of you. I apologize for always being such a sporadic blogger. But please drop me a comment. It makes my day to hear from you guys.
Hugs and Sunshine to you all.

What It Is

Well, darlings. It has been a rather productive week. I finished two new purses and have a third one well on its way. There have, however, been some minor setbacks to production. A trip to the doctor and the nausea that comes from a script of antibiotics, flooded kitchens and other water issues, and (of course) constant calls and texts from work begging me to come back.

I have to admit that I got a tad bit anxious when I considered what was going to happen when the cash in my wallet slowly disappeared. But it has been so nice to be home and get to actually see some of my ideas and designs come to fruition. I'm hoping and praying that this works out.

Lighting is always a little tricky around here in the winter, so as soon as I get some good pics of my work I will share it with you. Thanks so much for your sweet comments and rallying support. You guys are the best. And to those new followers that have joined in; thanks for being here.

Listen Up!

Well, dollies. I have some news.

I quit my job.

Yes, I did. After working at the garage for nine years, I decided it was time to walk away. I have wanted to leave for years. I love working in the automotive repair business, but my job had become more like babysitting a shop full of men than anything else. News flash! I have never been a babysitter. Last week sealed the deal for me. For the first time ever I actually felt ready to move on. The shop was making me a very bitter, hateful, faithless creature. I curse like a sailor and have grown way too numb towards derogatory remarks and jokes. After years of praying "God, please let me know what to do." I finally feel like I got an answer.

I know that I was meant to do something along the lines of art and design. I'm sure that God didn't give me a talent that He doesn't intend for me to use. So I am going to pour all of my energy and creative effort into re-vamping my Etsy shop. I am already working on a brand new line of bags and jewelry that I am very excited about. And, of course, I would love to eventually open a store just for my art.

I have no idea what is going to happen. The hubs and I have decided that we are just going to roll with it a while and see what comes of it. Maybe Miz. November will grow and prosper. Maybe something entirely different will present itself. We will just have to see. Regardless of what happens, its always nice to know that I have a group of online friends to cheer me on. I may need your help in the coming months to help spread the word about Miz. November's new look. I've got a lot of work to do. And I promise that when things get rolling, you darlings will be the first to know about it. New designs. New listings. I will share them with you guys first.

I want to thank all of you. Without this circle of inspiring, brave, creative, ambitious bloggers, I would have never had the nerve to press on towards my bigger goals. You all truly inspire me and give me courage. Much love to you all, from the bottom of my heart.

Life's a Bitch and So Am I.

I don't have to go to work tomorrow. Wanna know why?

Because I am a woman who is not going to be talked to in just any manner. I do not stand for others dishing shit out but not being able to take it. I am a female that believes that just because you are a boss does not mean that you are right. Let the shit hit the fan. I refuse to apologize for taking up for myself. And I refuse to uphold a chauvinistic point of view.

Dear work: Have fun taking care of all the customers tomorrow.
