Winter Wonderland

Boy. I feel like I have been out of the loop for a while. Last Friday brought a huge snow here in the mountains of North Carolina. Today is the first time that I have been able to get to a computer. Yes. One of these days I will get internet at my house so I won't have these problems.

To be honest, I like being snowed in. I like knowing that I don't have to go anywhere or do anything in particular. I like being home all day. I like seeing what my house looks like in the morning sunshine.

I still haven't wrapped all my Christmas presents. I haven't really even finished getting presents. They may just have to wait for the New Year! I did make sugar cookies. They were as good as I hoped they would be. And now I have the ingredients to make gingerbread cookies, too. I hiked all over the mountain in my new snow boots. Threw some snowballs. Watched movies. Cleaned house. It has been quite enjoyable being snowed in.

Now I'm off to get my house cleaned up and get ready to go to a friends house for dinner. I probably won't be back around for a few days. So, from the bottom of my heart, I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas. I hope it is magical and peaceful and that you enjoy every minute of it. Reading your blogs and your comments are like getting a Christmas present every single day of the year. Thank you. God bless you.

With Love ~Jo~

Oh, being snowed in sounds lovely!! I'm not a fan of the snow, but I'm a fan of being forced to stay home!

I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas and New Year's. Your blog and your comments are like rays of sunshine in my blogging world. Take care, gorgeous girl!
