The Dilemma

I am soooo not a big spender. We've talked about this before. But I'm taking my vacation next week from work and I'm not going anywhere. I'm staying home. So, I've been thinking that I deserve a special treat; maybe a purchase that I wouldn't normally make.

My favorite spa sent me an e-mail saying that their massages are on special this month. Ahhhh. I love a good massage. That's really hard to pass up. But I've been eyeing the collection of boots from Born. I'm such a sucker for shoes. And the foreshadowing of fall is making me crave a pair of boots. I don't want the "uniform" winter boots. I already have a pair of those. High heels, tight fit, mid calf. No. I want a pair of soft leather, flat sole, would look insanely awesome over my jeans kind of boots. Boots like these.
And, people, have you ever pulled on a pair of Born shoes? Oh......my......gosh. They are so comfortable. I could wear them all the time. Or, at least that's what I tell myself.

I have been known to buy shoes and boots before and then not wear them enough to justify the purchase. But, on the same note, I used to have a pair of black combat boots with buckles up the side that I wore until they hurt my feet.
If you haven't noticed, I'm kinda leaning towards a pair of boots. But the massage would be nice, too. What do you think? I can't do both. I gotta choose.
Oh! and you should definitely check out the Born website. The photos are amazing. I mean, just look at the few above. There are plenty more. Seriously gorgeous. Go look!

I love those boots. Love them.

I couldn't possibly choose between a massage and those boots. I'm sorry but I'll be of no help to you.

Hmmm...if it were me, I would get the boots :) Your feet will thank you and it's a gift to yourself that keeps giving.

Thank you for all of your sweet comments on my blog, by the way! I really appreciate each one...
